Welcome to the website and practice of Marc D. Danziger, MD, FACS. Dr. Danziger is an experienced, board certified urologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Danziger is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of American College of Surgeons. A 1992 graduate of New York Medical College, he completed his General Surgery residency training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York from 1992-1994 and his Urological Surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and the New York Presbyterian Hospital from 1994-1998. He was the chief resident in Urologic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1998. Dr. Danziger is an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and Clinical Instructor of Urology at Cornell University Medical College. 

Dr. Danziger has published in the areas of: prostate cancer, bladder development and robotic reconstruction of the bladder. He has also lectured on robotic prostate cancer surgery and teaches urologic surgery residents in training and Attending surgeons how to perform robotic surgery.

Dr. Danziger's special interests include robotic prostate cancer surgery and robotic surgical reconstruction of kidney and bladder abnormalities. In 2006, he was the first surgeon to perform a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Danziger and the department of Urologic Surgery have subsequently performed hundreds of robotic surgeries.

Dr. Danziger also has an extensive general urology practice in Manhattan. He is a partner at New York Urological Associates, P.C., with offices located at 245 East 54th street, 880 Fifth Avenue, and 955 Park Avenue.Learn More>

Dr. Danziger is a member of the American Urological Association, New York State Medical Society and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also has an active role in the departments of urology at Lenox Hill Hospital and The New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell Medical Center in teaching urology residents in training.
